Diamond Jack - A New Band In Town
A new band is about to emerge here in the Houston area. Five men have banded together to bring back a Classic Rock sound that once ruled the airwaves of the FM radio days of the nineteen seventies. The band consists of players who have spent many years perfecting their craft in two of the most popular Houston bands - Rat Ranch and the Fab 5, as well as spending time in national acts like Axe and the Pat Travers Band. Classic Power Arena Rock would be the best way to categorize this band. We have carefully selected songs from what we consider to be the greatest years of Classic Rock. For the most part, the sound of this band is very authentic. We work very hard to faithfully recreate the style in which each song is played. Vocally and instrumentally, we pay very close attention to detail. The song list consists mainly of some of the greatest FM/AOR radio hits ever recorded. That being said, we also have a few new renditions of older classics and are planning on working on original music in the near future. Songs currently being played are by iconic bands like Blue Oyster Cult, Peter Frampton, April Wine, Molly Hatchet, Golden Earring, Cars, Boz Scaggs, Three Dog Night, Bad Company, Joe Walsh, Pat Travers, Badfinger, Foreigner and much more.
